Hello Island Park Families, 

This is my fourth year as the MIYFS school-based counselor at Island Park Elementary. I am honored to continue supporting the mental health needs of the students and building meaningful relationships within the community. 

I'm originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I was an elementary art teacher for 10 years. My passion for art and aspiration to help young people inspired me to further my education in the Art Therapy field...so I moved to Seattle! I attended Antioch University to earn a dual master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy in 2017. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a registered Art therapist in the state of WA. I feel incredibly fortunate that my journey has led me to become an Island Park Eagle!
