Hello Kindergarten Families!

I am absolutely over the moon to be joining the amazing kindergarten team at Island Park Elementary! For the past three years, I’ve had the joy of teaching first grade right here at this wonderful school. Before that, I completed my student teaching in kindergarten at Island Park, so returning to this magical grade feels like coming full circle. This school community has truly become a second home, and I’m thrilled to begin this exciting new chapter with our youngest learners.

A little about me: I have an identical twin sister. Yes, we get mixed up all the time, and she’s the best built-in best friend and shopping buddy I could ask for! When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time with my family, watching all kinds of movies, and enjoying the outdoors—especially if it involves a fun round of golf with friends!

Kindergarten is such a special year, filled with wonder, discovery, and joyful "firsts." My goal is to create a warm, playful, and nurturing space where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. From building early literacy and math skills to developing social-emotional growth and confidence, we’re going to make incredible memories together.

I can’t wait to meet my new bunch of bright, curious, and joyful learners. Let’s get ready for a year full of laughter, learning, and LOTS of fun!
